From the Pioneer Zephyr which began its runs in 1934 to the 1971 termination of service for the Nebraska Zephyr, these silver trains were THE vision of America's rails and were featured in films and television, in advertisements and fiction. The Silver Zephyr, or Founder's Gray, is Switchman's ode to these trains and to its honorary founder, John Ferdinand McGhee
